Principal Message

Dear Parents/Guardians/ Teachers and Students,

We are all living through an unprecedented time. The new variant ‘Corona Virus’ is spreading like a wildfire across the nation. While many Indian states are gasping for life giving oxygen, we helplessly watch our near and dear ones pass away in front of our eyes. The shortage for medical equipment, hospital beds, and life-giving medicines are acute. The second wave is sweeping across the country with much might and vengeance, overthrowing all the safety gears into oblivion. As panic and uncertainty prevail in the country, we have become humble before God. Man’s search for meaning continues...

Governments at different levels across the world are taking extreme measures to limit the loss of human lives and minimize economic disruption. The Indian Government is trying its best to minimize the causalities through vaccination and importing lifesaving technologies. In the midst of all these we see a lot of goodness happening in the form of cooperation, collaboration and reaching out to the poor and the least. Countries are helping other countries that are in urgent need for medical help.

I am sure we are working hard to keep our families, communities safe and healthy in the face of COVID-19. Our children are the most affected by the pandemic. They miss their school, friends, teachers and their childhood fun. We may not be able to completely stop the plethora of its ill effects on our children, but we can surely minimize its bad effects on children by engaging them in singing, cooking, painting, reading, gardening and some indoor games.

Dear Parents, our teachers are learning new skills in digital platforms to hold hands and accompany the children into the new normal. At times there may be failures in doing so but we shall overcome with hope and positivity. We need your support and cooperation. Finally, I want to assure you all that this too shall pass away and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Stay safe, Stay healthy. May God bless you all.

Christmas Message

Christmas, the season of joy is celebrated on 25th December all over the world. It is a big festive season for the Christians. At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is the birthday of Jesus Christ who was born in Bethlehem the city of King David.

At Christmas we see beautifully decorated houses and shops with shining stars, Christmas trees and Santa Claus. We do a lot of shopping during Christmas. The main attraction for children during Christmas is the Crib and Santa Claus. As we peep into the Crib, we see the parents of Jesus-Mary and Joseph and along with them in the crib we also notice some animals and shepherds and three kings. Joseph and Mary, the parents of Jesus were poor, and they did not get a place in the inn to give birth to their Son, so Mary gave birth to her son in a manger where cattle and sheep were tied. The shepherds in the crib are real shepherds who used stay awake whole night in the biting cold to take care of their sheep. They were nomads travelling from one place to another to feed and take care of their sheep. They were poor people. But the good news about the birth of Jesus was first announced to them. As they heard the announcement from an angel of the Lord, they walked all the way to visit and pay a homage to the newborn child.

The shining star on the top of the crib and on the Christmas tree is believed to have risen at the time when Jesus was born and it showed the way to the shepherds and the three kings. It also symbolizes that Jesus is the ever-shining star who gives light to the universe.

In the crib we notice three kings- these three kings were wise men from three different directions who heard the announcement about the birth of Jesus and came to worship Jesus. After worshiping they presented him gifts-Gold, Mir, and Frankincense.

Christmas is a joyful season when God announced His Good news to the world that Jesus Christ is born to save His people from the slavery of sin and death. It is a festival of Joy, peace and hope. At Christmas people exchange gifts and wish each other a happy Christmas and prepare cookies and cakes. Children look forward to Christmas because at Christmas they want to see Santa Claus who would come on a red nose reindeer sledge with lots of gifts. Finally, Christmas is a season of hope especially when the world is under the clutches of Covid 19 it brings a new ray of hope that God will save us all.

Wish you all a happy Christmas and a prosperous new year 2021.
